Russian humanitarian aid distributed to families living in the temporary residence center in Al-Harjalah

Damascus countryside (ST):  SANA News correspondent reported today that a Russian delegation, visiting Syria, distributed humanitarian aid to the families living in the temporary residence center in Al-Harjalah area in the countryside of Damascus.

The correspondent stated that the aid includes food supplies, children’s toys and household items.

In a statement to SANA, member of the Russian delegation Eric “Zakitov” said that the Russian aid provided today, weighs 2 tons and it includes various foodstuff, children’ toys, household items, and mattresses  for children, pointing to the continuation of providing more aid for the Syrians with the aim of overcoming the crisis.

In a similar statement, Head of the Local Council in Al-Harjalah Abd al Nasser Al Khateeb indicated that the Russian Federation is constantly distributing aid to the residents of temporary residence center based on the strong relationship between the two countries, and it is keen on providing more support for those affected by the terrorist war.

On the sidelines of the process of distributing the aid, the delegation of the Russian Federation, which includes a number of personalities occupying various positions in their country, visited the departments of the temporary residence center and was briefed on the situation and needs of the residing families.
