Russian forces destroy 975 military infrastructure facilities in Ukrainian territory, says Russian Defense Ministry
MOSCOW – The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 975 Ukrainian military infrastructure facilities, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said, Interfax reported.
“The Russian Armed Forces have by now defeated 975 Ukrainian military infrastructure targets. They include 23 command and control facilities and communications centers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, three radar posts, 31 S-300, Buk M-1 and Osa air defense systems, 48 radar locators,”Konashenkov said at statment on Sunday.
The statement pointed out that the Ukrainian military collectively refused to continue fighting. It said that, the soldiers of the 302nd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, equipped with Buk M1 air defense systems, yesterday voluntarily laid down their arms and surrendered, as 471 Ukrainian soldiers were detained.
It should be noted that the Russian Defense Ministry announced yesterday that the methods of the Ukrainian ultra-nationalist groups are reminiscent of the practices of the terrorists in Syria.
