Russian FM: Friendship relations with Syria prove effective

Moscow (ST): The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova affirmed the Friendship Agreement signed between Syria and the Federation of the Soviet Republics forty years ago has proved its importance and effectiveness.

In a press conference she made Zakharova said that this agreement is among a few documents signed in the name of Soviet Union that are still viable and important.

She added that we can say confidently that these friendship relations between Syria and Russia have proved their effectiveness and their ability to overcome all difficult circumstances.

Zakharova concluded “ We look forward to continuing and expanding constructive cooperation with the friendly Syria in all domains.”
