Russian FM: Assassinating Suleimani will aggravate tension in the region

Moscow (ST): Russian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the assassination of the Commander of Al-Quds Brigade in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard major general Qassem Suleimani is a reckless act committed by the US administration which will lead to escalating tension in the region.

Russia Today website quoted a source in the Ministry as saying that Suleimani was faithfully serving the Iranian national interests expressing condolences to the Iranian people.
