Russian experts: The West will fail in Ukraine as it did in Syria

The United States and its intelligence agency have mobilized mercenaries from around the world and are sending them to fight in Ukraine as they did previously in Syria, Head of the Integration and Development Department of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) at the Institute  of the Commonwealth of the Independent States, military expert Vladimir Evseev has stressed.

In a statement to SANA correspondent in Moscow on Saturday, Evseev said Syria has bravely faced and combated terrorism and triumphed over it.

He pointed out that the Americans destroyed the Syrian city of Raqqa and no one in the West expressed concern or felt upset over this crime. The same is happening in Donetsk where Nazi crimes are being committed, while the only concern of the west is to engage Ukraine in its activities and for this end it is ready to do anything.

Evseev clarified that the colonialist West, which used to adopt a supremacist type of behavior, continues with its policy of imposing sanctions on countries that do not submit to its dictates, believing that by doing this it can force any country to submit to its will, and hence, it imposed a big set of sanctions on Syria, Iran, Russia and other countries.

He expressed confidence that the West will fail in Ukraine as it did in Syria despite its massive support for the Nazis there.

In a similar interview with SANA correspondent, Amore Gadjiev, the academic researcher at the Near and Middle East Studies Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said that the Americans are pouring oil on the fire in Ukraine by sending money, military equipment and mercenaries to Ukraine, as a destructive behavior that undermines any positive efforts to settle the Ukrainian crisis.

The researcher went on to say that the US troops, which are present in Syria illegally, have entered the Syrian territories without an official Syrian invitation and they are playing a negative role that impedes political solution in Syria, but they will fail in achieving their goals.
