Russian experts: The US Turkish presence in Syria is illegitimate

Moscow (ST): Russian experts and political analysts have condemned the aggressive acts and the destructive practices committed by the Turkish and American occupation forces against Syria and the region, stressing that the crime of assassinating General Soliemani, the Commander of al-Quds Brigade in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the greed of president of the Turkish regime represent a continuity of dangerous violations of international law.

Former Duma member and director general of Political Research Institute Sergy Markov said that the Turkish regime was pressing ahead with its aggressive acts against Syria while the US continues its illegitimate intervention in Syria through its troops which are plundering the Syrian oil and resources.

Senior researcher at the International Relations University affiliated to the Russian Foreign Ministry Yuri Zenin said that the US aggressive policy is still continuous condemning the assassination crime of General Soleimani which is an unprecedented disgraceful act in the history of international relations.

In turn, senior researcher at the Orientalism Institute Boris Dulgov described the Turkish regime as the most aggressive in its heinous practices in Syria and Libya.
