Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the dispatch of an eighth plane carrying 16 tons of humanitarian relief aid to the earthquake-affected people in Syria.
The Syrian embassy in Moscow said: “This shipment, which was collected and sorted by the embassy, was provided by the Syrian community and the friendly Russian people, and the plane will arrive in Syria later today.”
On the thirteenth of this month, the Russian Emergencies Ministry announced that it had started transporting 160 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria, to be delivered to those affected by the earthquake that struck the country on the sixth of last February.
