Russian DM: Washington’s coalition intensifies the transfer of military equipment to the Syrian Jezira

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense expressed its concern about the intensification of the “international coalition” led by the United States to transfer military equipment to the areas of its deployment in the Syrian Jezira region.

The Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim indicated that the Washington coalition has recently increased the intensity of the air transport of military goods and the land movements of military convoys to the eastern region of the Syrian Arab Republic, which causes concern.

The Russian Center said that such a military build-up in conjunction with the emergency economic and social situation resulting from the tight American blockade causes great harm to the chances of a political solution to the crisis in Syria.

Earlier, Russia reaffirmed that the US military presence in Syria is illegal and in violation of international laws.
