Russian diplomat: Palestinian people are deprived of their rights because of the Israel’s racist policy

MOSCOW, Nov.28, (ST)- Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev has affirmed that the Palestinian people are deprived of their legitimate rights due to the racism of “Israel” and the intransigence of the forces supporting it.

In an interview with the correspondent of the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) in Moscow on the sidelines of the 2nd day of the Primakov Readings Forum,  Kosachev  said: “The Palestinian people are deprived of their independent national state and their national rights approved by international legitimacy because of the racist policy of “Israel” and the stubbornness of the forces supporting it.”

He added that the Palestinian people have been exposed to injustice and other negative factors, including the Quartet’s freezing of international mediation and Russia’s exclusion from the legitimate solution to the Palestinian issue.

Kosachev asserted that “Israel” receives all forms of support from the West, regardless of the crimes against humanity it commits against Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.

He expressed his hope that the current truce would continue in order to bring calm and freedom to civilians, and to reach realistic conclusions that would enable the Palestinian people to gain their independence and establish their independent national state.
