Russian delegation discusses with Damascus countryside governorate projects of reconstruction

Damascus countryside – Governor of Damascus countryside Ala Ibrahim discussed Sunday with Dmitry Sablin, Coordinator of the Parliamentary Group for relation Affairs with Syrian people’s Assembly, prospects of cooperation in the fields of reconstruction and exchange of expertise to develop resources of Damascus countryside regions.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed projects that would help push production process and reconstruction in the governorate and open the way for new work domains which could contribute to promoting the youth capabilities and increasing their expertise, SANA reported.

 

They pointed out to the importance of supporting the tourist and agriculture sectors in Damascus countryside governorate and open new markets for the Syrian agriculture products in the Russian provinces.

In a press statement, Sablin affirmed the importance of the meeting which tackled cooperation aspects in the social, economic and humanitarian fields, hoping the distinguished ties between Russia and Syria would help carry out  a big number of developmental projects to raise the level of economic development between the two sides.
