Russian Defense: Ukrainian forces use schools in the city of Odessa as headquarters to deploy their heavy weapons

Moscow, (ST) – The head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center Mikhail Mezintsev announced that the Ukrainian forces have deployed heavy weapons, armored vehicles and multiple missile launch systems in two schools in the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa.

“The militants of the Ukrainian extremist battalions and units of the Ukrainian armed forces who hide behind civilians and use them as human shields continue to use civilian infrastructure facilities to establish strongholds and deploy heavy weapons,” TASS quoted Mezintsev as saying.

Mizintsev said that the Ukrainian forces have set up firing positions in two school buildings in Odessa, one on Krymskaya Street and the other on Paustovsky Street, and deployed armored vehicles, artillery and multiple missile launch systems.

Yesterday, Mizintsev revealed that the Ukrainian forces had deployed rocket launchers in the building and warehouses of the Lysichansky Factory in the Lugansk People’s Republic of Rare Gases, after detonating containers containing dangerous chemicals.
