Russian defense: Thwarting Ukrainian missile attack targeting facilities in Crimea, Rostov and Kaluga

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a failed attempt by the Kiev regime aimed at bombing Crimea and the Rostov and Kaluga regions with missiles.

The ministry said in a statement today, according to Sputnik agency: “On the ninth day of July, the Kiev regime made a failed attempt to attack targets in Crimea and the Rostov and Kaluga regions with “S-200” anti-aircraft missiles that were converted into an offensive version.

The statement indicated that Russian air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian S-200 missiles, and the electronic warfare system jammed two other missiles.
