Russian Defense: Neo-Nazis continue to detain civilians to use them as human shields

Moscow (ST): The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the Kiev Nazis are deliberately bombing Russian forces from a school in Kramatorsk Donetsk People’s Republic to prompt the Russian army to respond and accuse it of bombing schools and civilian structures where civilians are being held as human shields.

The Russia Today website quoted the head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center, Mikhail Mezintsev, as saying: “The neo-Nazis fired artillery shells at the positions of the Russian forces and formations of the Donetsk People’s Republic from the school district No. 3 of Nadia Korchenko Street in Kramatorsk.

He added that “the neo-Nazis, by their behavior, tried to provoke the Russian forces to return fire, by detaining the residents of neighboring houses in the basement of the school under the pretext of ensuring their security while using them as human shields.”
