Russian Defense Ministry: Al-Nusra terrorists in de-escalation zone in Idlib carry out 23 attacks

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the terrorist organizations deployed in the de-escalation zone in Idlib and a number of areas in its countryside carried out 23 attacks during the past 24 hours on areas and sites in the countryside of Idlib, Hama, Aleppo and Lattakia.

Deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim, Brigadier General Vyacheslav Sitnik, said in a statement that “23 attacks were monitored from the territories where the terrorists of “ Al-Nusra Front ”are deployed, including 13 attacks in Idlib, 5 in Aleppo, 3 in Hama and 2 in Lattakia.

“Al-Nusra Front” terrorists deployed in Idlib and some areas in its countryside continue their attacks using rocket-propelled grenades on the neighboring safe areas, leading to the death and injury of a number of civilians and damage to property. On the 30th of last month, they attacked the city of Saraqib in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, which led to material damage to people’s homes.
