Russian Defense Ministry: Al-Nusra terrorists hide weapons in the refugee camps in Idleb

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the terrorists of the Al-Nusra Front are hiding weapons in refugee camps in Idleb governorate and are preventing international organizations from accessing them.

The deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center in Syria, Oleg Yegorov, said in a statement today: “The center is receiving information about the continuous deterioration of the humanitarian situation in the Harem and Salqin camps in Idleb governorate, where Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists have placed weapons and ammunition depots in these camps in an attempt to hide their criminal activities.” The terrorists prevent representatives of international organizations from accessing these camps.

Yegorov stressed that these terrorist actions pose a direct threat to the lives of civilians and are another example of how terrorists use the civilian population as human shields.

Yegorov announced that the terrorist organizations continued their violations in the de-escalation zone in Idleb, where they carried out 4 attacks during the past 24 hours, two breaches in Idleb, one in Hama and one in Latakia.
