Russian Defense Minister calls for uniting the world’s efforts to confront terrorists

Russian Minister of Defense Sergei Shoigu reiterated his country’s call to unite the efforts of the entire international community to meet the challenges and extremist ideas of terrorists.

“The Russian Defense Ministry has gained great experience in fighting terrorism and we are ready to share it with our partners in the Asia-Pacific region,” Shoigu told the Xiangshan Security Forum in Beijing.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said several days ago that “the fight against terrorism should not be politicized to achieve special goals”, underlining the urgency of finding mechanisms to fight it globally.
