Russian Defense: Foiling an attempt to launch a Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow

Moscow (ST): The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the air defense systems thwarted an attempt to launch a Ukrainian attack using two drones on the Russian capital, Moscow.

The (RT) website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: “An attempt to carry out a terrorist attack by the Kiev regime last night, using drones on the Moscow region was thwarted and air defense systems shot down two drones.”

The ministry confirmed that there were no injuries or damages as a result of the terrorist attack. The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, announced the shooting down of two drones that tried to fly over the Russian capital, as one landed in the Domodedovo region, and the second in the (Minsk) highway.
