Russian communist party sends humanitarian aid to Syria

The Russian Communist party has sent three trucks loaded with humanitarian aid to the Syrian people to help them withstand the difficult circumstances resulted from the war, sanctions and most recently the earthquake.

This batch of humanitarian aid will be sent in a cargo plane that belongs to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Leader of the Party Gennady Zyuganov said in a statement during the process of uploading the trucks in Moscow that the trucks carry 3o tons of food supplies, including wheat flour, corn flour, legumes, sugar, vegetable oils, canned food, etc..

He clarified that the Russian communist party has effectively provided assistance to the Syrian people during the crisis to stress its commitment to supporting Syria, pointing out that the party is also helping the people in Donbas in the confrontation of Neo-Nazism and fascist gangs.

For his part, Deputy Head of the Communist Party Vladimir Kashin said “Syria is an important country and we are providing support and assistance to the country after the earthquake disaster,” thanking all the people who contributed to this aid shipment.
