Russian air defenses destroy 23 Ukrainian drones over the territory of 4 provinces

Moscow-St-  (SANA) Russian air defense systems shot down 23 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night, most of them in the Bryansk region

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Sunday: “An attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on targets on Russian territory was thwarted, as air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 23 Ukrainian aircraft,” explaining that 17 of them were shot down over the territory of Bryansk region, three over Rostov region, two over Belgorod region, and one over Kursk region.

The Russian regions bordering Ukraine are periodically subjected to military attacks by drones, shells and missiles, targeting civilian areas, child and elderly care centres, in addition to infrastructure, with the aim of spreading terror, losing security and affecting the morale of Russian citizens.

Civilian injured in Donetsk Republic by Ukrainian shelling

In the same context, the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic in the Joint Center for Monitoring and Coordination of Issues Related to Ukrainian War Crimes announced in a statement at dawn on Sunday that a civilian was injured as a result of the Ukrainian forces’ shelling of the republic’s territory, explaining that these forces shelled the republic’s territory 8 times during the past day, and fired 24 projectiles of various calibers.
