The Russian Coordination Center in cooperation with the Syrian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on Monday distributed a Russian aid to children with special needs at Al-Amal Institute for children with Physical Disabilities in Damascus.
In a statement to SANA, Assistant Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Yaser Al-Ahmad said that the Russian aid included wheelchairs that facilitate the movement of the children in the institute and help alleviate their suffering during their daily life.
The Russian aid expresses the originality of the Russian people and stresses the strong and deep-rooted relations between Syria and Russia, Al-Ahmad added.
On his part, Rear Admiral Vadim Kulit, the Deputy Chief of the Russian Coordination Center, said that Al-Amal Institute provides great care for children with special needs and the Russian aid comes within the framework of Moscow’s continuous support for the Syrian people.
