Russian Aerospace Forces Destroy over 910 Terrorist Facilities in Syria in Past Week

MOSCOW, (ST)-The  Russia’s Aerospace Forces carried out over 420 sorties in Syria over the past seven days and destroyed over 910 facilities belonging to international terrorist groups, the Russian Defense Ministry said in its weekly infographics published by the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper on Friday.

The sorties are carried out within the framework of Russia’s participation in the war on terrorism under a request from the Syrian Arab Republic.

 On November 23, the Russian aerospace forces announced that their airstrikes destroyed more than 1320 within a week.

During last month, the Russian strategic bombers Tu-22M3 carried out strikes against Daesh terrorist organization positions in Deir Ezzor destroying several hideouts and dens of the takfiri groups.
