Moscow, (ST) –  Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova expressed Moscow’s welcome of the agreement reached by the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation, which includes a truce and an exchange of detainees held by the resistance and prisoners in occupation detention centers.

RT website quoted Zakharova as saying: “Moscow welcomes the agreement on a 4-day humanitarian truce in the Gaza Strip.” She noted  that this is what Russia has been calling for since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict.
