The governor of Rostov Province in southwestern Russia, Vasily Golubev, has announced today that a convoy of Wagner Military Company fighters and its vehicles left the territory of the province last night.
Golubev said on his channel on the “Telegram” website that the “Wagner” company’s convoy left the Rostov region and went to its field camps, noting the efforts made in this regard in order to ensure the coherent work of life support systems in the capital and throughout the Rostov region.
Reports in Russia indicate that this development folds the file of the armed mutiny that preoccupied the world during the past day, and was led by the founder of Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin, who chose this fate for himself in return for leaving Russia to Belarus, after mediation led by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
The details of the agreement reached in this respect include allowing some of the “Wagner” fighters, who refused from the outset to engage in the “Prigozhin” campaign, to join the ranks of the Russian armed forces and contract with the Ministry of Defense, in addition to the return of the “Wagner” forces to their camps, and the part that does not want to return to headquarters and camps signs agreements with the Russian Ministry of Defense. Finally, the criminal case against Prigozhin has been closed and he will be leaving for Belarus.
