The Russian president Vladimir Putin and President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday stressed the need to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip and find a permanent and just solution to the Palestinian issue in accordance with the international law.
The Russian presidency said in a statement on its official website: “In a phone call between the two presidents, the principled position of Russia and the UAE in support of an urgent ceasefire and the resumption of the political process in order to reach a permanent and just solution to the Palestinian issue on well-known international legal foundations, was confirmed.
The statement added: “Steps have been considered to provide additional humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip.”
The number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the war-torn Gaza Strip, which has been continuous for the 122nd day, has risen to 27,478 martyrs and 66,835 wounded.
