Russia suspends its participation in grain deal after terrorist attack on Sevastopol

Russia announced the suspension of its participation in the grain deal across the Black Sea, after the terrorist attack launched by the Kiev regime forces on Sevastopol.

“After the Kiev regime, with the participation of British experts, carried out a terrorist act against the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships involved in ensuring the security of the grain corridor, the Russian side suspended participation in the implementation of agreements to export agricultural products from Ukrainian ports,” the Russia Today website quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying in a statement.

For its part, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Moscow had given instructions to its representatives at the Joint Coordination Center in Istanbul, after Russia suspended its participation in the grain deal, due to the failure to guarantee the safety of the ships.

The ministry said that the Ukrainian forces, led by British specialists, bombed the Russian ships that guarantee the work of the humanitarian corridor, adding, “The Russian side cannot guarantee the safety of civilian cargo ships participating in the Black Sea Initiative, and therefore it suspends the implementation of the deal from today indefinitely.” .

The Kiev regime carried out a terrorist attack on the ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian ships in Sevastopol using drones.

Last July, Russia and the United Nations signed a memorandum of cooperation on the supply of Russian agricultural products and fertilizers to world markets through the Black Sea.
