Russia strongly condemns the Israeli aggression on Tartous Governorate

Moscow, (ST) – Russia strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on the vicinity of Tartous Governorate, describing the Israeli aggression as “unacceptable.”

“We strongly condemn such irresponsible actions that violate Syria’s sovereignty and international law, and we demand unconditional cessation to these actions,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said in a statement yesterday.

Zakharova stressed that the ongoing Israeli aggressionon Syrian territories is “totally unacceptable.”

Two civilians were wounded and some material damages were caused by an Israeli missile attack last Saturday targeted the vicinity of Al-Hamidiya town, south of the Syrian province of Tartous.
