The Russian Emergencies Ministry affirmed today that an Il-76 plane delivered 21 tons of humanitarian aid to Egypt in preparation for sending this aid shipment to the residents of Gaza Strip.
Sputnik news agency quoted the Ministry as saying in a press statement: “The Ministry organized about 21 tons of aid in cooperation with the International Civil Defense Organization, and the Ministry’s Il-76 plane carried the new batch,” noting that “the Russian humanitarian shipment will be delivered to the residents of Gaza Strip through representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent.
Russia has so far provided 27 tons of food aid to Gaza Strip civilians who have been subjected to racist aggression and brutal Zionist genocide for 41 days, during which the number of martyrs exceeded 11,000, more than half of whom were women and children.
