Russia sends a new aid shipment to Gaza

The Russian Emergencies Ministry announced today that its L-76 plane carried a new batch of humanitarian aid to Gaza Strip.

The Ministry said in a statement reported by RT: The plane that took off heading to the Egyptian Al-Arish Airport carried a shipment weighing about 29 tons, which included health and food supplies.

The statement said that this shipment, which was collected at the initiative of the government of the Russian Republic of Ingushetiya, and will be delivered to the representatives of Egyptian Red Crescent Society, who in turn will transport it to the Gaza Strip residents.

Since the beginning of the humanitarian mission, Russian emergency aircraft have carried out 19 flights, transporting a total of more than 450 tons of cargo to Gaza.
