Russia’s Gazprom continues to supply gas to Europe via Ukraine

Moscow (ST): Russia’s Gazprom announced today that it will continue to supply Russian gas to Europe through Ukrainian territory as usual.

TASS quoted company spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov as telling reporters that “Gazprom provides Russian gas to be transported through Ukrainian territory, as usual, in accordance with the requests of European consumers, which are estimated at 98.4 million cubic meters as of today.”

Kupriyanov indicated that 98.96 million cubic meters of gas were requested yesterday, which is less than the deliveries under the long-term reservation for gas transit through Ukraine, which amount to about 109.5 million cubic meters per day.
