Russia offers 550 scholarships to Syrian university students

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Tuesday that 550 scholarships have been offered by Russia for undergraduate and postgraduate students of all studies that are available in Russian universities including medical ones for the academic year 2022-2023. 
 
The applications will be submitted to directorate of cultural relations as of Tuesday [September, 7, 2021] until November, 2, 2021. 
 
10% of scholarships are allocated to the sons and daughters of martyrs. 
The students, who win the the scholarships, will be exempted from the fees of study and they will get RUB 1500-2000 monthly salary for the first stage of study at university, RUB 2000 monthly salary for Master’s students and RUB 3000 for PhD. students. 
 
They have to pay the cost of traveling to and from Russia during the period of study besides the expenses of health insurance after they arrive in Russia.
