Russia holds the West responsible for the genocide in Gaza

The Russian Federation has affirmed that the West is responsible for the massacres and crimes of genocide being committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip.

Novosti quoted Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations Anna Evstigneeva as saying during the Security Council session last night that the blatant double standard policy of the West appears through its suggestion and passing the draft resolution that called for ceasefire in Sudan and for a solution to the humanitarian crisis there, while it doesn’t allow the adopting of a similar resolution regarding Gaza.

The Russian diplomat pointed out that the West blocks a resolution on ceasefire in Gaza while a real genocide has been committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians for five months, noting the United States’ repeated use of its veto power to prevent the adoption of a resolution that leads to ceasefire in Gaza.
