Moscow (ST): The Russian President’s Special Representative for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov announced today that his country does not rule out Britain’s involvement in organizing the protests that took place in Kazakhstan in early January.
Sputnik news agency quoted Kabulov as confirming that the Kazakh protests, which resulted in deaths, were not directly related to the Afghan problem, although Afghans were most likely among the participants.
Kabulov pointed out that although the government of Kazakhstan has not yet confirmed this information, the “external hand” behind the protests is already visible, and said: “It looks like a very similar British hand and there are arguments to support this.”
