Russia, Austria discuss situation in Syria, Libya, occupied Palestine

MOSCOW, (ST)- Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Austrian Ambassador in Moscow Johannes Eigner held talks on Monday on the situation in Syria, Libya and the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry, the two sides exchanged view points on urgent Middle East issues. They focused on the situation in Syria and Libya and on prospects of solving the Palestinian cause in the light of Washington’s announcement of the so-called “Deal of the Century”.

 In a flagrant violation of international resolutions, US President Donald Trump recently announced the items of the so-called “Deal of the Century” which allows the Zionist occupation to annex more occupied Arab lands in preparation to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
