Russia and Iran congratulate Syria on 76th Anniversary of “Evacuation Day”

Prime Minister Hussein Arnous on Monday received congratulation cables from the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and the First Vice President of Iran Mohammad Mokhber on the 76th Anniversary of “Evacuation Day” in Syria.

Mishustin congratulated the Syrian people, wishing them prosperity and peace. He stressed that the Russian-Syrian ties are based on deep friendship and partnership, pointing out that cooperation between the two sides contributes to enhancing the bilateral economic and trade relations.

“Active cooperation will develop economic, trade and humanitarian ties and will pave the way for implementing promising projects in all fields that serve the interests of the peoples of both countries,” he clarified.

 On his part, Iran’s First Vice President affirmed his country’s determination to consolidate the Syrian-Iranian relations in the light of the common interests, expressing his hope that cooperation between the two sides will contribute to attaining peace and stability in the region.
