Russia and Algeria call for coordination to stop the aggression against Gaza
During their meeting in New York, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Algerian Ahmed Attaf called for coordinating efforts at the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly to stop the aggression against Gaza Strip and secure the delivery of humanitarian aid .
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that the two ministers exchanged viewpoints on the the topics listed on the international and regional agenda, with focus on the unprecedented escalation in Gaza.
The statement noted that special attention was paid to coordinating efforts at the Security Council and the United Nations General Assembly with the aim of ceasing fire and ensuring unhindered access of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
