Rudenko: Russia-Asia cooperation is ‘political nightmare’ for West

Moscow (ST) – Russian deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko affirmed that the dynamically developing relations between Russia and Asia are a political and economic ‘nightmare’ for the West, which adheres to the anti-Russian line.

Russia Today website quoted Rudenko as saying in a statement: “The main political and economic nightmare for the West within the framework of its strategic anti-Russian line is our dynamically developing relations with Asia”.

He added: “The modern world did not want to follow the rules of the game imposed by the West. Positively oriented countries are in no hurry to sign up for new closed coalitions.”

Rudenko stressed that positively oriented countries do not intend to throw their resources at the geopolitical and geo-economics ambitions of Washington and its allies. He pointed out that Asian countries were guided by principles of welfare and prosperity of nations, not geopolitical rivalry.

On the other hand, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the purpose of the new American way of dealing with the Venezuelan opposition is to control the financial resources of the Venezuelan state, which is subject to foreign judicial mandate.

The Ministry stated today: “It is obvious that the tasks of the sponsors of the colored revolution that did not take place in Venezuela remain the same. The ultimate goal of this farce is not hidden, which is to control the financial resources of the Venezuelan state in foreign judicial mandate”.

The Venezuelan right-wing supported by Washington voted on December 30, 2022 to dismiss the interim government, which some considered as an American attempt to change trends in Venezuela after the failure of America’s previous plans towards it.
