Royal Jordanian land transport to Syria start next week

Amman (ST): The Jordanian Ministry of Transport clarified that Royal Jordanian will operate land trips to Syria starting next week.

 The Jordanian Ammon News Agency quoted the media spokesman for the Jordanian Ministry of Transport, Ali Odaibat, as saying, in an explanation of the statement issued by the ministry earlier regarding the return of Jordanian flights between Amman and Damascus, that the Royal Jordanian Company will, as of next Sunday, provide a land transport service for its passengers to and from the Syrian Arab Republic, where direct buses will depart from Damascus towards Queen Alia International Airport, pending the resumption of flights in the future.

Earlier, the Jordanian Minister of Transport, Engineer Wajih Azaiza, said in a joint press statement issued by the Ministry of Transport and the Civil Aviation Regulatory Authority that Royal Jordanian Company will start its flights to the Syrian Arab Republic next Sunday, the 3rd of October, provided that it adheres to all conditions that comply with the Health  protocols.
