Rouhani: The unjust US sanctions on Iran will not last

 Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said today that the unfair and illegal sanctions imposed by the United States on Iran will not last and that dialogue is the only way to solve and settle issues in the region.

“The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its vision of relations with East Asian countries has always been based on rapprochement and friendliness,” Rouhani said in a statement before leaving Tehran on December 17 heading toMalaysi. “This visit to Kuala Lumpur and then to Japan comes at the invitation of the leaders of the two countries within the framework of this policy”.

Rouhani said that there are many problems and challenges facing the countries of the region, especially terrorism, wars, foreign interventions , poverty, and the lack of conditions available for development.
