Rouhani: The step to lift the sanctions is Washington’s responsibility

Tehran, (ST) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed that the implementation of the nuclear agreement must be completed and all the unjust embargoes imposed on the Iranian people by the United States should be lifted.

 

Rouhani said during the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, “we are now on the correct path, and the step to lift the sanctions rests with Washington, as for verifying it, it is our responsibility.”  He said that, the other parties are apparently serious about lifting the sanctions, and we are committed to lifting all of  the sanctions without exception.

Rouhani pointed out that, “in the event of reviving the nuclear agreement, Iran’s nuclear activity will be in accordance with the terms of the agreement, and we will not deviate from it an inch. He added that, Iran will implement all the pledges incurred by it after we witness the credibility in the words and actions of the other parties.”
