Rouhani: The Security Council’s consensus that Washington is not entitled to use the conflict resolution mechanism is a great victory for Iran

Tehran,(ST)-Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that the UN Security Council’s unanimity on Washington’s ineligibility to use the dispute settlement mechanism within the nuclear agreement represents a historical precedent and a great victory for Iran.

Rouhani said during the Iranian government meeting today … that “America continues its pressure on the steadfast Iranian people, but despite all this, it will be defeated and its pressure will not succeed in achieving what it plans.”

Rouhani referred to the victory achieved by Iran in international forums and said .. “The President of the Security Council affirmed that America cannot return to the nuclear agreement, just as the agreement committee announced that Washington could not interfere in the agreement because it left it ,the council’s history has never witnessed the like of it ”noting that it is one of the few times in history that a country entered into a political and human rights conflict with America through international organizations and was able to defeat it several times.
