Rouhani: The people of the region must work to expel American forces

Tehran, ST-  Iranian President Hassan Rouhani stressed the need for the people of the region to expel  American forces from their countries..

Rouhani said in a speech during the Iranian government meeting today that “the American forces are not safe in the region today, and the European Union forces may be in danger tomorrow.”

He added, “Targeting Ayn al-Assad’s base means that we will not give up  to the United States and we will  respond to any attack. We will respond to the assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani by ejecting  America from the region.

Rouhani stressed that the United States is working to destabilize the security of the region, noting that “America has destabilized the security of the region, has interfered in the affairs of Iraq, Lebanon, and Libya, looted Syrian oil, and prevented the export of medicine to Iran .. It will not be for anyone’s benefit and will harm Europe, Asia, and the US itself.”

“You made a mistake in the region,  in the sanctions, and in the assassination of General Soleimani,” Rouhani said, stressing that America is responsible for the crimes committed against Iran  through the imposed sanctions and economic embargoes.

On the nuclear agreement, Rouhani said: The European Union Union is not acting as an independent bloc and we call on it to fulfill its obligations under the agreement.

Rouhani criticized British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s call for implementing the so called a “Trump deal”, stressing “that the American president has always broken his promises.
