President Hassan Rouhani stresses that negotiation was the only way to final settlement of Iran‘s nuclear issue, according to IRNA.
He said Iran is optimistic about the success of the talks.
The President made the remarks in a meeting with the newly-appointed accredited ambassador of Iceland to Tehran Gonar Pulsen who had called on him to submit his credentials.
He voiced readiness for cooperation with Iceland within the frameworks of international regulations.
He said the Iranian nation was only after safeguarding its inalienable nuclear rights.
The President further termed cooperation among world nations and governments as necessary for tackling international problems.
President Rouhani also commented on the current situation in the Middle East especially in Palestine and Gaza.
Referring to the siege of people there which denies them access to medicine and foodstuff, he said the world community should by now come to the point that they share the same common destiny.
