Rouhani: America’s looting of Syrian oil and Israeli occupation of Golan are flagrant violations of international law
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed today that the United States of America’s looting of Syrian oil and the continued Israeli occupation of the Golan are a flagrant violation of international law.
Rouhai received diplomatic missions and ambassadors of the countries accredited to Iran, including the Syrian ambassador, Dr. Adnan Mahmoud, on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic revolution in Iran.
During the reception, Rohain said: “The Americans claim that the occupied Syrian Golan, which is Syrian land, is for Israel and that they are looting Syrian oil wells as international bandits, and this is a crime against the Syrian people and humanity and a flagrant violation of international law. ”
Rouhani pointed out that America is committing crimes against the peoples of the region, stressing that the so-called “deal of the century” is a scandal for the American administration.
Rouhani asserted that the US embargo on his country is an unsuccessful attempt to bring down Iranian people, addingthat Washington targeted all Iranian economic facilities through the embargo decisions.
Rouhani affirmed that America increased its crimes against Iran by assassinating General Qassem Soleimani, who was working for realizing stability and security in the region, pointing out that the Iranian missile system is only to strike terrorism and the attackers of Iran.
Also during his reception of the diplomatic missions and ambassadors of countries accredited to Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed that there is no place in the region for those who line up behind the American policy and for those who consider the resistance fighters of the occupation forces as terrorists.
Zarif pointed out that the Iranian people reject these aggressive policies in the region and are determined to achieve their rights that the Americans are working to deprive them of by imposing an embargo on their country in all fields.
Zarif called on the diplomats in Iran to convey the facts to their countries, in order to refute the false Western allegations towards his country.
