Rouhani: America is responsible for the largest crimes in the region
Tehran,(ST)- Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed that the American allegations regarding helping Iran in combating the Corona virus are “major lies”, stressing that the United States is responsible for the largest crimes in the region.
Rouhani said during a government meeting today that Iran will overcome the crisis of the spread of the epidemic thanks to the efforts and cooperation of all, expressing his thanks to the medical and health personnel and everyone who works for the Iranian people.
He stressed that all measures will be taken to advance production, indicating that Iran will witness the opening and launch of major projects this year.
America hinders international efforts to combat the Corona virus, says Zarif
In the same context, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif confirmed that the United States hinders international efforts to combat the Corona virus.
“America is placing obstacles in the face of the international fight against the Corona virus, and the only way to solve this problem is to stand up against the collective punishment practiced by Washington and apply these endeavors on the ground,” Zarif twittes.
Zarif indicated that Iran appreciates various international efforts aimed at eliminating the illegal US sanctions imposed on it.
Zarif announced a few days ago in an interview with the Brazilian newspaper Fulia de São Paulo that the American economic blockade and preventing the entry of medicines stood in the way of confronting Corona Virus.
Meanwhile, Iranian General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces (IRGC) has announced that 52 of the 58 hospitals affiliated with the Armed Forces are designated to treat patients infected with the Coruna virus.
It is noteworthy that the last statistic about the Corona virus in Iran indicates that 21,638 people were infected, including 1,685 people, while 7 thousand and 913 others recovered.
