Roscosmos: Suspension of cooperation with the European Space Agency will not affect the launch of the Luna 25 probe

The Russian Space Agency “Roscosmos” announced that the suspension of the European Space Agency’s participation in the Russian lunar programs will not affect the launch dates of the Luna 25 probe.

Roscosmos spokesman Dmitry Strogovets said on his Telegram channel today that the European Space Agency’s decision to suspend its cooperation with Roscosmos in lunar projects, including the Luna 25 project, will not affect the launch date of the probe, calling on its European colleagues to think before taking any measures or sanctions.

The European Space Agency had previously announced the suspension of its cooperation with Roscosmos in the Luna 25, Luna 26 and Luna 27 lunar missions.

It is noteworthy that the first Russian lunar mission after 1972 is planned to be achieved in 2022, and the previously mentioned Luna missions will follow.
