Rodriguez: Washington is directly involved in the destabilization of Cuba

 Havana (ST): Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez confirmed that the United States was directly involved in destabilizing and organizing the demonstrations that his country witnessed last Sunday. Rodriguez said during a press conference held in the capital, Havana: “The mercenaries funded by the United States caused riots last Sunday through a media strategy camouflaged by a campaign on social media calling for providing humanitarian aid to the country.

Earlier, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stressed in a televised speech that the demonstrations in some areas are an attempt to create chaos and instability in the country, stressing that those who support the unrest in Cuba do not want the welfare of the people but the privatization of health and education and the application of neoliberalism.
