Rocket attacks kill 10 and wound over 20 in Damascus, Lattakia, Daraa, Aleppo in two days

PROVINCES,(ST)_Terrorists have fired three rockets and a mortar round on Faiha’a Stadium and Russian Embassy in Damascus a day after firing 18 rockets on Lattakia and Aleppo, according to the official news agency (SANA).

The agency quoted a police command source as saying that two civilians were wounded in the rocket attack on Faiha’a Stadium in the capital [Damascus].

The rocket attack also caused material damage to the stadium.

In the same province [Damascus], a mortar round, fired by terrorists, hit the Russian embassy, leaving material damage.

The mortar round fell on the roof of the Consulate Department in the embassy and no one was hurt, a source at the Russian Embassy told SANA.

Yesterday, more than 8 rockets hit quarters of Amara, Shagour, Bab Touma and Mazra’a in Damascus where a woman, aged 48, and a 9-year-old girl were martyred.

Eastern wall of Umayyad Mosque in Aleppo collapsed

In Aleppo city, terrorists booby trapped a tunnel they dug under the Umayyad Mosque and exploded it, causing the collapse of part of the eastern wall of the mosque.

A rocket attack took place yesterday in the ‘al-Nil Street’ quarter in Aleppo city which was hit by 4 rockets fired by terrorists holed up in Bani Zied quarter.

At least 7 civilians were wounded by the terror attack.

Terrorists kill 5 schoolchildren in Bosra al-Sham city

While in southern Daraa province, terrorists targeted yesterday the ‘Martyr Abdul Karim Najm’ School in Bosra al-Sham city with rockets, killing 5 schoolchildren and wounding 7 others.  

More three civilians were martyred and four others wounded as  14 rockets hit  Jeb al-Hasan quarter in Lattakia city and towns of Mashqita, al-Qlof, Sqobin, Ein al-Laban and Ein al-Boida in Lattakia countryside.

The rockets were fire by terrorists holed up in the northern countryside of Lattakia.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
