Resistance bound to defeat ISIL

TEHRAN– Iran Parliament speaker said the Resistance Front will undoubtedly come out victorious in the fight against treacherous terrorists of ISIL group and Jabhat al-Nusra.

“These terrorists have ignited a war against Muslims on behalf of the Zionists and the 33-Day War in Lebanon proved to be an unwanted incident for Muslims and the Lebanese Resistance,” Larijani told Parliament open session on Sunday morning, according to the Mehr News.

He underlined that the war between Hezbollah and Zionist regime was an unequal and cruel war in which the Lebanese nation created a scene of glory with their patience and resistance in spite of the American-Zionist oppression.

“During the first week of the war, Israel and the US would oppose any ceasefire demand by other countries,” recalled the official adding “a conference was held in Rome where then US Secretary of State ignored the summit by rejecting the ceasefire plan proposed by the Europeans.”

“Then US president also uttered irrelevant words towards Hezbollah during the Moscow conference and his clandestine talks with the British prime minister of the time were an indication of their evil fantasies,” continued Larijani.

He further maintained that changes in circumstances in the second week of the war altered their behavior as they sought to end the war through intermediaries; “it was in the third week that the Zionists’ failure had been asserted and enemies hastily formed the Security Council to cover up their shame and to leave the battlefield with respect.”

Iranian Parliament speaker stressed that God paid back the patience and resistance of the Lebanese people by giving them the honor of overwhelming the Zionist regime.

“The honor belongs to the Resistance front, particularly Hezbollah and its brave and pious leader Hassan Nasrallah, who turned their small country into a strong fortress against the American-Zionist bullies,” Ali Larijani emphasized.

The official further underscored that “Iran’s Parliament commemorates the warriors of the 33-Day War and felicitates the victory of Hezbollah and the Resistance Front.”

“No doubt, in view of the new conditions in the region and the role of the treacherous terrorists of ISIL and Jabhat al-Nusra, who are fighting with Muslims on behalf of the Zionists, the Resistance Front will once again carry the day,” Larijani concluded.
