On January 22nd, residents of the village of Hamo in the southern countryside of Qamishli intercepted military armored vehicles of the American occupation forces, and expelled them as they tried to pass through the outskirts of the village.
Local sources said that a convoy consisting of four armored vehicles belonging to the American occupation forces, accompanied by a car belonging to the (SDF) militia, tried to cross the international road and pass near the village – the people intercepted the convoy, threw stones at it and expelled it from the area.
