Residents of Sweida Gather in Al-Karama Square to Celebrate the 14th Anniversary of the Syrian Revolution

In celebration of the 14th anniversary of the Syrian revolution, residents of Sweida gathered today in Al-Karama Square in the center of the city under the slogan “In Loyalty to the Memory of the Revolution.”

Participants carried banners affirming the sovereignty of the Syrian state, the unity of its people and lands, and rejecting all forms of foreign intervention, while denouncing divisive and sectarian slogans.

They also chanted slogans and sang revolutionary songs in tribute to the souls of those who fell in the struggle against the oppressive regime and in the pursuit of liberation and victory.

Participants in the event called for solidarity among all citizens to rebuild the nation and enhance its security and stability, condemning the treacherous Israeli airstrikes that targeted innocent civilians from Daraa governorate last night, which resulted in several martyrs and injuries to others.
They emphasized their rejection of any external aggression against the land and people of Syria.
